ON-LINE CALENDAR (1999-2001)

REGISTRATION CHANGES

 

All changes, including course additions and deletions, must be approved on an official Change of Registration form. Copies must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office. Students may receive credit only for courses in which they are officially registered.

COURSE ADD/DROP
The time period for students to add or drop courses to their program is six (6) business days from the beginning of the term for all terms of more than eight (8) weeks. The add/drop period is three (3) business days from the beginning of the term for terms of eight (8) weeks or less.

Extended Drop Period
Students may drop individual credit courses during the extended drop period without any academic record of their enrolment. A financial penalty is assessed for courses dropped during the extended drop period. The extended drop period ends 15 business days from the beginning of the term in terms of more than (8) eight weeks in length and seven (7) business days in terms of eight (8) weeks or less in length.

  • No record of courses dropped during the Add/Drop Period or the Extended Drop Period will appear on the student’s academic transcript.
  • Fees for courses registration changes made during the Add/Drop Period or the Extended Drop Period are due at the time of registration. Refer to the Refund and Credit Schedule under the FEES section of this Calendar for further information.
  • Courses dropped after the Add/Drop Period but before the end of the Extended Drop Period will be assessed a later drop fee.
  • Consult the Academic Schedule for important dates for individual programs.
  • Students are able to withdraw after the Extended Drop Period will be graded a “W” grade.
  • The allowable withdrawal period extends from the 16th business day in a regular term to 66% of the length of the term. Students remaining enroled in courses after the 66% deadline will be assigned an academic grade.
  • Courses from which a student has withdrawn and has been graded a “W” grade are not calculated in the GPA. No tuition refund is available to a student for a “W” graded course.

WITHDRAWAL FROM THE COLLEGE
Students who wish to withdraw from the College before two-thirds (66%) of the term has elapsed should complete an official Withdrawal Form available in the Registrar’s Office.
